Creation

I decided to edit this little text descritption a bit, because painting this does mean something, i was just intimidated by the thought of trying to explain it .

This painting/drawing was loosley based off of a drawing I had made in my sketchbook. The process was more intuitive and I was just going along with it, experimenting with washes and different colored pens. Although I wasn't trying to reference this guy, the finished product reminded me a bit of Alex Gray's work.

To me, this image is speaking of creation and the duality that exists in all of us. We are spiritual and physical, ego and higher self, and both parts are equally important. The ego is not the enemy. It takes two people to create life, and it takes both sides of our consciousness working together to create a universe.
